Lesson notes
Use examples and non-examples to make abstract ideas easier to understand. Ask AI for an everyday example, worked examples in math, and a non-example, then explain why each one fits—or doesn’t.
Compare several examples at your level and find the rule they share. For math, ask AI to explain each step in a worked example, then solve a similar problem yourself.
Try this prompt: “Explain what an ecosystem is, give me two simple examples and one non-example, and tell me why each one fits or doesn’t fit.”
An example can make an idea clearer, but it is not proof and should not replace the concept. Ask for a counterexample when you want to test whether a rule always works. Then explain the real idea without relying on just one illustration.
