Learn a Hard Idea With AI

Lesson notes

Learning with AI is most useful when you can explain the idea yourself. Use a teach-back method in this Micro-Quest to learn why astronauts appear to float in orbit, then test your understanding without AI.

Start with what you already know and make a prediction. Ask AI to teach the idea without giving the full answer, request one hint at a time, check your reasoning, and ask for an example or a different explanation when you need one.

The key idea: astronauts and their spacecraft are falling together around Earth while moving sideways fast enough to keep missing the surface. Explain that in your own words, try a new question without AI, and name anything you still do not understand.

This Micro-Quest brings together the Chapter 11 learning-coach toolkit. Use AI to build the skill, not skip it.
